SCORE Naples is currently looking for a few interested and qualified volunteers who are willing to share their leadership capabilities, business knowledge and experience with others. They will join a congenial group of 60 skilled business professionals — both men and women — who provide counsel and assistance to local small businesses.

“We have immediate need for full-time Florida residents interested in donating their time and Talents, including bi-lingual, with backgrounds in technology, internet marketing, website design, construction, hotels and lodgings and recreation. We are especially interested in recruiting accomplished leaders willing to assume leadership roles in our chapter,” according to Chapter Chairman Ekkehard Grampp.

This staff increase is required to serve the growing number of local companies requesting assistance in this economic slump, he said, adding that SCORE Naples has also joined with The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and Collier County on a new major project to assist Naples businesses during these tough economic times. It will be announced in early July.

SCORE also is participating with the Economic Development Council of Collier County during the summer, developing the “Project Innovation” plan for a strong and innovative economy,” he added. The results are expected to be made public in October. Over 40 business organizations in Collier County are endorsers of the project.
